New leadership
Orion Trading Systems realigns leadership to help transition the company to the next phase of growth. Franklin Gold is promoted to Co-CEO alongside Paresh Malde who will formally take on the role of Chief Product Officer
With the Launch of Orion MultiTrader on Tradier Brokerage, Orion Trading Systems has realigned its senior management team to accelerate its next phase of growth. Franklin Gold, previously President & CSO, will be taking on the Co-CEO role, with increased responsibilities around equity trading and the firm’s overall go-to-market implementation.
Franklin spent nearly 20 years at Fidelity Investments focusing on institutional and retail equity trading. He built Fidelity’s retail active trader direct-to-market capabilities, acquired and integrated a systems trading firm, led all of Fidelity’s charting initiatives, and headed the online research and customer education offerings. He was also a member of both the Corporate ETF Strategy Team and Market Structure Strategy Team.
Paresh Malde, CEO and founder of Orion, will take on the additional role of Chief Product Officer. He will focus on enhancing the firm’s flagship Orion Multi-Trader software, expanding the number of easy-to-use trade automation tools, launching the Cloud-hosted version of Orion Multi-Trader, and readying Orion’s EOMS platform for launch.
